Yet More Civility

Credit to Ninety Miles and Barefoot.

Facebook purges accounts in support of Second Amendment. I recall that various leftists wanted a "conversation" on gun ownership receny "Conversation" in leftist dialogue means an echo chamber. I wonder what major social platform will censor pro-gun voices next?

Diane Feinstein updates the 1994 Assault Weapons Ban.

  • Protects legitimate hunters and the rights of existing gun owners by:
    • Grandfathering weapons legally possessed on the date of enactment
    • Exempting over 900 specifically-named weapons used for hunting or sporting purposes and
    • Exempting antique, manually-operated, and permanently disabled weapons
  • Requires that grandfathered weapons be registered under the National Firearms Act, to include:
    • Background check of owner and any transferee;
    • Type and serial number of the firearm;
    • Positive identification, including photograph and fingerprint;
    • Certification from local law enforcement of identity and that possession would not violate State or local law; and
    • Dedicated funding for ATF to implement registration

10 out of 10 Gangsters Agree

Gun control works!

Fortunately for everyone else, a ban on concealed carry was struck down in Illinois. There is little doubt that the Chicago politicians will find another way to keep the streets safe for protection rackets, rapes, muggins and turf wars though. Assuming Obama does not just EO a nation wide gun ban.

School shootings have not happened in Israel since 1974 for one reason: guns. Israeli school teachers are armed to protect the children.

John Boehner allegedly has caved into the Democrats' call for a tax increase on the top two percent of Americans, supposedly in exchange for entitlement cuts. There is no hard verification available but it would not be surprising. John Boehner purged conservatives from the house financial committee, and while he claims they are "assholes" (yes you read that right), it is evident that he removed people who would have opposed of his Quisling agenda.

In France, the top two percent are emigrating to avoid the 75% income tax levied by President Hollande and his Socialist cronies. The Berlin Wall was built solely to keep productive people from fleeing the "workers's paradise." The Kulacks were massacred for resisting collectivization (wealth redistribution).

Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results.

Update 12/16: Barack Hussein Obama threw out Quisling's offer.

Even More Civility

A pro union activist threatened Rick Snyder's daughter in light of the governor signing the Right to Work bill. This is a textbook example of the left's mindset: guilt by association. A direct result of group-think mentality.

More Civility

Harry Belafonte calls for Obama to round up and jail Republicans. Just the latest from the bastion of civil discourse. The Democrats.

Communism by another name.

The head of the President's Jobs Council has stated "State Run Communism works."

Jeffry Immelt is the CEO of General Electric, the same General Electric that has avoided paying taxes, and has allegedly been granted a waiver from greenhouse gas regulation. China's system works for him because China's system of government has not been Communist since the end of Mao Tse Tung reign. At least not completely.

Fascism is far from being right wing and was the brain child of Benito Mussolini who was a dedicated Marxist before he used Marxism as the basis of an indirect collectivist system where, in his own words: "But when brought within the orbit of the State, Fascism recognizes the real needs which gave rise to socialism and trade unionism, giving them due weight in the guild or corporative system in which divergent interests are coordinated and harmonized in the unity of the State."

China's post-Mao reforms have produced a system similar to Mussolinian Fascism but with actual business corporations to prop up a self-perpetuating oligarchy. Even then, China's business owners are usually family members of Politburo members.

The Democrats want an emulation of China's system, complete with an American version of the People's Armed Police to enforce it. Cronyists will benefit hugely from a Fascist State.

The silver lining is that the beast can be starved. Boycott those who empower statism. Support the business making an honest profit.

Democrat Douglas Gleiss threatens "there will be blood" on the floor of the Michigan House of Representatives over the Right to Work vote. His tweet has been removed but has been preserved by Twitchy. Union thugs used his threat as inspiration and stormed a tent belonging to AFP

Let them drop all pretense of civility. Let it be seen that they are the ones who cannot abide by the rule of law or respect the rights of others.

Update: Right to Work legislation passes Michigan congress. Governor Snyder will sign the bill.

Looney Tunes

The country is 60 trillion dollars in debt (counting unfunded liabilities), has massive unemployment, and events in the middle east could boil into a third world war. Congress was right on top of things.

If Pearl Harbor happened today

The president would announce that during his fourth term that he would be more "flexible" with the Germans and Japanese over development of the atomic bomb.

The State Department would end the embargo of iron ore, coal and oil.

Tokyo Rose would be promoted and funded by the US government.

The US government would urge British restraint while German V1 cruise missiles and V2 ballistic missiles hit London, and would summon the League of Nations for a two-state solution where the Germans would be entitled to the British territory up to the Scottish border.

Okay seriously. Never forget.

Looney Tunes

The North Korean government claims to have discovered an ancient unicorn lair. Yes you read that right, their propaganda arm seriously claimed this. Weekly World News eat your heart out. I guess they still have yet to find the fossilized poop that's supposed to spawn rainbows, pots of other people's gold and ressurect Kim Jong Il and Kim Il Sung.

Not only were conservatives purged from committies, they were purged by criteria that is secret to both the public and the purged officials themselves. The officials who were removed were never even notified.

GOP boots conservatives from commities

Read it here. Stop donating to the party. Stop voting for Republicans. Write in or vote for libertarians. Let the party die. Any party that thinks it can stab its base in the back and play by the rules while the opposition openly breaks the law deserves to go the way of the whigs.

Update: The party's elite colluded with the democrats yet again.

Zombocracy (Zom-boc-rasee): N. A government characterized by incompetency, failure, corruption and general mayhem. Usually elected by people who are stupid enough to be considered brain dead.

California police want citizens to appease robbers

Read it here. I don't have much to say on it other than that I wish police would stop seeing every civilian as a criminal or subject (not that it will ever happen).

Al Bore's minions were recently caught trying to purchase footage of fire whirls to use as "evidence" of man-made global warming. Since any person with half a brain knows that fire whirls are created by local air currents, one has to wonder if there really is a limit to the depth of stupidity that the average progressive posesses, or if it is as infinite as a quantum singularity.

Democrats and Big Oil team up to tax you

Go onto any left-wing forum/blog/website and you will see at least one post accusing big business being in bed with those eeevil greedy conservatives. Go to any conservative forum/blog/website and you will see writing that assumes that all companies will suffer from regulation and taxation. The reality is much different. Small business will suffer for sure, and so will any business without connection to the government. Those in bed with the politicians will either get special favors, opt-out waivers (as certain medical companies and unions are getting waivers from Obamacare), or will simply pass the burden onto the competition (and the consumer), as Exxon and certain other energy companies in bed with the government will do with carbon taxes.

The government does not need to nationalize any privately held company. The union of government and cronyism (better known as Fascism) will ensure that no one among the serfs is independently wealthy, while maintaining the illusion that economic freedom still exists.

Boycott those in bed with the government (and Big Unionism). Support the honest business when possible.

I have been watching this whole debacle over the attack on the Behnghazi consulate and the common thread seems to be that it was involved in weapons smuggling to the Muslim Brotherhood fighters in Syria. Remember it was the Muslim Brotherhood who took over Egypt, Tunisia and Libya with US funding, and military support in the case of the latter.

Over the past few days, Hamas, an offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood launched rockets into Israel, reaching as far as Tel Aviv and Jerusalem for the first time. They even managed to shoot down an Israeli F-16.

What if the administration is covering up the facts behind the Benghazi attack to conceal the fact that Hamas may have been among the recipients of Gadaffi's weapons? Remember that several thousand anti-aircraft missiles were among the weapons seized by the US's new allies.

It goes to show that the US shouldn't have even been involved in the middle east conflict in the first place, much less play both sides. Eventually the Muslim Brotherhood will bite the hand that feeds it, possibly with Assad's and Quadaffi's WMDs.

In addition, the US government removed from the terrorism watch list a Chicagoan who assisted Hamas. If nothing else it shows that the administration is more sympathetic to Hamas than it would normally let on.

The Debate

There is a lot of enthusiasm in mainstream conservative circles over how Mitt Romney beat Obama, but the fact is, Obama didn't need to win the debate. Not with the support of the 51% who do not pay taxes. The sad fact is that the majority of people think the solution to the failure of socialism is more socialism, as evidenced by the impoverished European countries electing ever more radical leftists to rob ever more money from ever fewer producers (for example, France's new government has enacted into law a 75% income tax rate on its top income bracket).

In the event that the class warfare card fails, Obama and his handlers (Valerie Jarret, etc) have the foreign warfare card (wag the dog), with three possible wars to play: Iran, attacking the Libyan militia that was previously allowed to attack the Benghazi embassy and backing Japan against China over the Senkaku Islands. Considering that attacking Iran will start a regional conflagration and result in severe economic upheavel, and considering that a war with China would have the possibility of going nuclear, the administration will probably attack the Libyan militia. Then again, the civil unrest created by the economic repercussions of a regional war could be beneficial to the powers that be, yet another crisis not to be wasted.

Ultimately, the election won't matter much, if you look at Romney's record in Massachusetts, or the voting record of the Republican-owned House. We will still have 16 trillion dollars of debt, a fiat currency being printed to infinity, and outside enemies whose actions are beneficial to the powers that be (case in point, how the Libyan Embassy attack was used as propaganda against free speech).

The Milgram Experiment (repost)

I accidentally deleted the Milgram Experiment post as I was going through drafts. Here it is again.

The one thing that is telling about this Daily Mail article is that the protestor did not seem to be rolled over by a member of the Chinese military or police. This incident just proves the accuracy of the famous Stanford Milgram Experiment, which showed that many people will torture and kill another simply by being told to do so.

Chinese protester opposing government takeover of village land 'is crushed to death by state-controlled road-flattening truck'

  • Protester He Zhu Hua, appears to be crushed in shocking images
  • He opposed being moved after government tried to claim land for commercial use
  • Reports claim government then tried to hide body and sent security to quell anger from residents

Hat tip to Reaganite Republican.

To the list of recent unsettling developments at DHS and other federal agencies -such as FEMA camp expansions, massive DHS ammo buys, a creepy new biometric surveillance system just being rolled-out by the FBI, and drones buzzing our backyards with cameras- we can now add the appearance across the country of not just heavily-armored military grade Humvees, but 'GLS' armored personnel carriers (APC's) such as in the picture above-
2500 of them to be exact.

According to reports the Department of Homeland Security is expecting significant push-back in the very near future, which explains why they already have thousands of heavily armored vehicles in DHS 'Police/Rescue' livery, resplendent in either a dashing Gulf War tan or menacing stealth-anthracite:
What could they need equipment like this for here in the US? They are hitting the road with it. Caravans of National Guard equipment but with new never before seen equipment in the convoys. Take a close look at what is painted on the side of the Black Humvees. The Humvees are fully armored the same standard used by our military.

The use of the word '‘Rescue'’ is an obvious psy-op... …makes it sound nice and benign, kind of like a life-saving paramedic ambulance and not a domination and death machine. The Posse Comitatus Act is gone"

The universal disadvantage to any armored vehicle is that the crew has to get out somtime.
