Civility

Democrat Douglas Gleiss threatens "there will be blood" on the floor of the Michigan House of Representatives over the Right to Work vote. His tweet has been removed but has been preserved by Twitchy. Union thugs used his threat as inspiration and stormed a tent belonging to AFP

Let them drop all pretense of civility. Let it be seen that they are the ones who cannot abide by the rule of law or respect the rights of others.

Update: Right to Work legislation passes Michigan congress. Governor Snyder will sign the bill.

  1. This is the only hope for the Michigan automobile industry. Jobs could actually come back.

Unions need Government regulations to force people to join them. They HATE freedom of choice. This is about choice, why do they believe that choice will lead to Union destruction? Perhaps they know that freedom is the most dangerous thing to their socialist state.

    1. Socialism does not work without theft. Theft requires coercion. Only those who would benefit from socialism (union bosses and the EBT crowd) want socialism.

Yes I would agree that it this is a tacit admission that choice is dangerous to socialism.

  2. They have always been bullies and thugs. If they can't humiliate and browbeat you into submission, they'll use force to break you.

    1. Douglass Gliess should have done more history on labor and violence before bringing up the Battle of the Overpass. There was plenty of violence started by the unions as well.
